Each Comtat bicycle frame purchased is covered by the Comtat Cycling warranty against defects in workmanship and materials, excluding paint and decals, for 3 years from the purchase date, so long as the frame is owned by the original purchaser. This covers ALL the bicycle frame models Comtat offers. This warranty is expressly limited to either the repair or replacement of the defective frame – the decision to repair and replace is to be at the sole discretion of Comtat – and no other remedies are available under the warranty.
Comtat does not warrant against damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper assembly, improper maintenance, or installation of parts or accessories not originally intended for use with or compatible with, the frame or bicycle sold.
Comtat does not warrant against damage or failure of Comtat bicycle frames caused by accident, misuse, abuse or neglect. Any modification of the frame or its components shall void this warranty.
Comtat warranty policy is valid only for Comtat products purchased through www.comtat.co.uk. Comtat products purchased through any channel other than www.comtat.co.uk are not covered by the Comtat warranty.
Subject to the laws of your jurisdiction, which prevail where applicable over the terms of this warranty, Comtat shall not be responsible for incidental or consequential damages suffered. This warranty does not cover labour charges for parts changeovers.You have 14 days to return the bike in the condition it was sent to you i.e. carefully packaged and in an un-ridden and perfect condition. We will refund the full amount including the carriage charge to you. All we ask is that you cover the postage charge back to us. Please note, this doesn’t apply to bikes configured and built in the Comtat Creator™ as these bikes are custom built to your own specifications.
