While our own online fitting system is excellent in determining the right frame size for you, if you want to fine tune your bike position you should invest in a bike fitting consultation. It will help you get the best out of every pedal stroke and enable you to ride long distances, ache free. There are many bike fitting companies out there now and the Comtat boys have tried most of them. A lot of cash and a lot of strange results later we discovered Velo Solutions. The results have been astounding, with Velo Solutions solving all of our long lasting problems, such as knee twinges, back aches, saddle sore and poor descending to mention just a few. If you're serious about your cycling then you should really speak to these guys, as they are the experts when it comes to your position on the bike. Finally the weather has changed, so we can start getting stuck in to our training and club rides. The winter bike can be put away and the carbon wheels can come out to play. It's about time as we can't remember a worse winter for cycling. 

Tourmalet review: Cycling Plus gave our Tourmalet bike 9/10 in the June Edition of the magazine. They said 'the ride is an absolute treat' and that its' 'light enough for racing and comfortable enough for long distance sportive riding too.' The issue also includes a complete bike buyers guide so well worth the purchase.

Stock situation: We have been caught out a little with a pre-season rush, as thanks to some great reviews, our stock is very much depleted. Don't worry though, we will have more to offer in about 6 weeks. The name: We are often asked about the name, Comtat is small series of small French villages in Vaucluse. A small group of us went on our first cycling holiday trip and stayed in Serignan Du Comtat. It was situated about 10km's from the mighty Ventoux. The correct pronunciation is 'Comta' but we say 'Comtat'. We had such a great time staying in this village that we decided to pay homage to it by naming our club and then our bike brand after it. A few people have said that as our brand is British we should have chosen a British name, well Wandsworth didn't sound right, so Comtat it is.

Bike Box hire: We now hire out bike pods. We have 5 Polaris bike pods that are only 5 quid a day to hire and 2 bike box alan hardcases for 8 pound a day. In order that you can collect and return outside office hours, pick up, for your convenience, is from a private address in Putney, South London.

Test bikes: We are working on offering test bikes for you to ride before you make a decision on which bike to go for. We will keep you informed on how this will work. 

The Comtat Telegraphe took the main slot in Independent's newspaper annual 50 best bikes feature this weekend. If you missed it they said ''This new brand marries British style with massproduced carbon and great knowledge when it comes to speccing a good road bike. In every way, their machines look and perform like more expensive rides."

We've just received stock of the new Keo 2 max carbon pedals. They were used by Alberto Contador in the tour this year and they certainly look nice.
