We are fresh back from this years Eurobike and what a great show it was. There were many highlights but it was mainly clothing and shoes that grabbed our attention. Fizik are introducing a range of shoes which nicely create a balance between vintage and new. Also the gaerne shoe range was also caught our eye and dare we say put the sidi range into the shadows. The new clothing range from Mavic is also very nice with some very technical winter jackets with pockets and vents a plenty. Bike wise, the Cipollini stand caught most people's attention but we can't really see any having the bottle in the UK to ride one. Storck continue the quest for lightness with the fascenerio 6.0 - a 600 gram frameset. Cervelo was also pushing their 670 gram frameset but with a pricetag of £7000 they are not going to be a familiar sight on your club run. It was the battle of the lightest wheel this year with Reynolds, Lightweight and Ax Lightness all with sub 900 gram wheelsets although the Ax Lightness are sub 800 at 750 grams, hard to beileve when most of us are riding wheels double that.
